Who has the base model and whats the main difference apart from the alloy's and climate control. Preferable the Australian model if anyone has any info.

It basically comes down to no alloys on smaller wheels ( 15") , no cruise, different cloth trim, lower grade CD stereo.
There isn't much difference in driving between it and the top range models, as they are identical in mechanical spec. Put on a good set of alloys and you'll be fine

As far as I can tell ( and Mazda gave the same answer ) all models have identical suspension in Australia.
Main difference comes down to wheels and tyres.

And to answer the other question all come with tinted windows, but it's very light. I'm having mine done darker before delivery.

Here in Holland the base model (Exclusive) had black painted mirrors (YUK!) and wheel covers (again; YUK!); black seats, no climate control, no thing to put your arm on (can't come up with the current word..)

Base model:

But alloys are option, like the 15":

We've got:

Exclusive (wheel covers, black seats)
Touring (wheel covers, suede seats)
Executive (16" alloys, black leather seats)
Active (17" alloys, black leather seats)

Exclusive (look at the things to control the air and stuff. But we dó have cruise control, radio etc on the steeringwheel. But not on this picture)

Is there a major visual size difference between the Mazda6 15" and standard on the mid version 16" alloys? Anyone in Australia have any price on these as well.

The alloys have the same design, despite size. But of couse it changes the car's appearance if you go for bigger rims.

In Sweden 16" alloys are standard on all 2.0 litre and 2.3 litre versions.

do u need to pay extra for the darker tint?
my dealer didnt give me too much discount, only a free spoiler.
have to pay extra for an alarm as well.

1.8: steel rims
2.0: 16" alloys
