Has anybody installed the AWR transmission mount. I already have the SU rear mount, but still get a ton of drivetrain lash between shifts, especially 1-2-3. I was wondering if the actual transmission mount is just as shitty as the rear mount and differential mount. Also, do would you have to drop the entire transmission to mount this thing? I can't find instructions and haven't really had time to get my ass under the car lately. Just trying to gauge how effective this mod may be.

AWR Transmission Mount - Mazdaspeed6

thanks for the help.

i have one and its awesome.. alittle more vibes but well worth it..
easy install.. you will need to take the battery and batt. tray out then the stock mount is rite there.. just support the trans from underneath with a jack and swap out mounts..

Nice, that doesn't sound that bad. Did you do that before the rear diff mount? Would you do that or the rear diff mount first is what i'm really looking at.

Also, I the site says not to use the 70 durometer on the Speed6, did you just get the 88?

Use the 70 duro's or you'll regret it. I have the 70's on my car and you feel more NVH already. 88 will be un-bearable. You will feel and hear the clutch spinning and some whining as well...
