When ever I press the auto button on my climate control, the a/c light goes on. Am I right to assum that the a/c compressor does not run if I have the temp set to 80 and above. Told you it was a dumb question

lol...I thought the same thing. But was told the ac will only come on when needed. When it is set to defrost it will come on and of course when you want cold air this summer (crosses fingers) . Looks like I'm not the only dummy out there....Thank you !

ACC turns the AC on to help to keep the windows from fogging up in winter.

I've had a paly with the ACC as well and when you turn the set temp up to 30 degrees, the aircon is still on. I think when you select ACC, the aircon is always on, regardless of the temperature selected.

Well ACC will only be used in the summer months here. To save gas and not waste any of the ponies.
