4) ..Will 35/55W kits hurt our stock 6 's power/electrical system also ??
4b) Does it require/pull a lot of juice from the alternator/battery ?
5) ..How do these 35/55W compare to HIDs from the BMWs & Bimmers as far as intensity + color of light displayed on the road ?
5b) I'd expect that you have fog bulbs (ones that go in same top headlight housing - not bumper fogs) )that would match color projection of your HID kits respectively ? And what about the parking bulb in the same housing ??
6) ..Do your kits project further straightforward ahead in distance than the stock 6 , besides just glowing brighter , how much more if so ?

7) Where is the best place to fit the balast in the engine bay , or somewhere else for it to be discrete and at the same time weatherproof if it is not already completely ?

There is a chart for the lumen output comparison at therpmstore.com Neither kit will hurt your stock wiring as the offroad kit is only 50w.stock halogens are 55w.Xenon also runs cooler.Ballast placement,well I agree with DaBears2k.There are many "How to HID installs".The comparison between the DDM and Apexcone does interest me as well.

I gather these are listed as only 35W (check RPM chart below)
4500K = Great light output (3400 lumens), White, best performance
5000K = Great light output (3200 lumens), Pure white, very good looks
6000K = Good light output (3000 lumens) , white with blue hue, best looks

Here we go

1) We pay a licensing fee to Xtec for every product we sell that we buy through them. There is no licensing fee on our own brand.

2) Bulbs are the same. Ballasts are very small. They measure 3.5 x 2.5 x 0.5 compared to the Apexcone ballast at 3.75 x 3.0 x 1.5. The Apexcone ballast weighs almost 1.5 pounds and the DDM is 8 ounces

3) 4200 lumens compared to 3200 (can vary a little depending on what Kelvin you choose)

4) No, but you can use a harness if you like. Available separately. The DDM and 50W kits come with a harness.

5)They exceed the OEM intensity, color to suit. OEM is right grey BMW and Apexcone/Xtec bulbs are on the left.

6) They do. It would be hard to judge the difference as it would depend largely on the construction of the halogen bulb. I can assure you that there's a huge difference though. We also, from time to time adjust the HID bulb to take advantage of changes in products supplied by Philips. Apexcone/Xtec bulbs are made with 100% Philips burners.

This is from one of our customer last year. Lots of other possibilities. I suggest forward of the strut towers or inside the bumper below the headlights.
