I have an 09 6s Sport with the 17's. The factory Michelins are down to the wear bars [email protected] 30k miles. So i'm tire shopping. I don't like the look of the 215/55's, they are too skinny. I'm thinking 225/50's or 235/50's. Any suggestions? Register today for free or log-in if already registered to remove this ad!

235/50s should clear the struts without a problem. I wouldn't go any bigger than that though...

Got them mounted today, Went with Bridgestone G019's 235/50/17 and they fit great and look much better being wider than factory. No rubbing issues at all. Looks like I still have enough room for lowering too.

I'll try to get some tomorrow after work. We have a snow storm coming here in St. Louis so I'll see if I can beat it.

What are some mods people are doing to these cars anyway?

My wife and I had our second kid so I decided to sell off my daily driver and an 01 Camaro SS w/ 450whp and got this car, I've had it almost a year now and all I've done is tint the windows and added a factory spoiler.

Not much, unfortunately. The aftermarket is slowly catching on, but it's a slow go.

Take a look around the site a little. There's members that have done some cosmetic mods (LEDs, HIDs), as well as new rims, etc.

And we're always looking for new ideas/products for the 2nd-gen, so if you get/find some, post them up!
