I'm relatively new to the Mazda 6 scene (and the world of car enthusiasts in general), so I'm looking to meet some of the local people with similar interests to me. Anybody around the New England area who still meets up or knows of any good car meets in the area (not necessarily Mazda meets either)? I've checked out the NEMAC group on Facebook, but it seems like it's primarily used to share info about Mazda/sell parts and cars, and less about having a New England community.

I'm always around for stuff - though life has been keeping me pretty busy lately lol.

My wife and I try to take at least a cruise or two when spring hits and we don't have anything planned - could always try to plan a Saturday or Sunday cruise with you (and others if interested) :)

Edit 1: There's a few other guys in the area that I'm aware of who have been active lately, but I can't think of their usernames right now.

Edit 2: @Mz6GreyGhost is a good friend and always up for a meetup. Wonder if he'd like to make the bit of a haul to come meet us - that, and I'd love to see his 2018 Turbo in person again

I'd love to do something at some point and I would definitely love to see that 2018 turbo. That sounds heavenly. I'm also hoping to make it out to Mazda vs Everyone in NH this weekend so we'll see how that goes.

Hey @huntermm - Sorry, I've been crazy busy lately and only able to come on here for short periods of time. I also run a group of 400+ people outside of the car world who do events on a weekly basis, so I keep myself busy lol.

If the rain ever stops up here I'm still down for doing something, but I don't know if we'll see much interest besides us from the looks of it. I'll text GreyGhost and see if he would want to do anything, but I would love another run on Rt 2 out to Mt Greylock if we get the weather for it; that's probably my favorite road in New England (so far).

No worries! I've been incredibly busy as well - I generally only get the chance to pop on here between tickets at work -, I've barely had the chance to breathe in the last two weeks. I'd still be happy to do something at some point if it ever stops raining for long enough. I've never been out to Mt Greylock (despite living in MA for my entire life) but it looks like it's gorgeous up there.

Totally off topic but what does the check mark next to the title of this thread mean? I've noticed it on a few threads I've created and I have no idea what it means or how it got there.

Are you referring to this one?

That check mark tells you if you are subscribed to the topic or not.

It's something I think most MA residents haven't seen but absolutely should. Highest 'peak' in the state and it has wonderful views despite only being 3,500ft.

I've been texting GreyGhost and he could be convinced to head out there at some point too (as he's done numerous times with us). If the rain ever stops and it ever gets above 45 degrees we'll definitely plan something.

Probably means you're subscribed to the thread and get updates on it - but I only use the web-browser on a computer for this site :)
