Those popping flames! It seems exciting to have that. We just don't know how reliable will the car be on the long run.

OVT officially discontinued their support for Mazda but as mentioned, Rafael is continuing the work.

I can't say based on having had the tune (yet). My car is not currently on-the-road due to circumstances, but I can say without reservation - that that is who I will use . I have heard nothing but positive things, with the exception that a person has to be patient with return times. I'm still gonna go that route as I would not trust anyone with my car but with an experienced hand and a track record.

I can understand the line of thought on that. Is Rafael accepting new clients? I'm on track to start that process in 4-6 weeks finally.

Flushing my coolant and installing my CorkSport rear motor mount this weekend and that only leaves the tensioner, belts, and lightweight crank pulley once they are delivered (went with torque solutions on the pulley since it was $60 less and suspiciously the exact same specs).

Will you be monitoring temps or pressure anywhere? I played with MazdaTweaks and have a flash drive ready to load but am hesitant. The Speedometer tweak offers coolant temp and intake air temp but idk how accurate it is.

As for me, I don't think for my application I will bother with the engine monitoring. Normally I would want oil pressure and oil temp. But I won't be extracting enough performance out of my car to need them, I don't think. The Tune, for me, is for in-city drivability / lower regimes torque. One reason a person might like oil temp is to know or feel when oil is sufficiently at temp to allow you to get energetic with revs or throttle aggression...
