Yes i recently just installed mine last week. There are DIY diassembly instructions floating around somewhere.

Its not hard, you have to remove the shift knob, pry underneath the cup holders , unclip and remove, remove 2 screws underneath cigarette thing a magic, remove bolt behind glovebox for stereo, slide out stereo, remove 2 screws holding in map compartment, unclip teh LCD screen, slide it all out, unclip LCD screen and clip it into the new housing, plug in the cable that comes with the system into the back of the stock stereo, i routed teh GPS cable through into my glovebox....

thats the general gist of it..i worked off a pcitured dash removal guide, google is your friend...

Where did you get your system from? I plan on buying one before Christmas, but I'm can't find a reputable dealer. Also, if anyone else has one of these systems I'd like to know where you bought it and the price. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks

100%? No...

Hardware wise its REALLY nice. Screen is crisp (although hard to read in sunlight). The textured top matches in 99% perfectly, it all just looks very nice and seems well built too.

Software wise though its a bit of a bummer, its ugly as sin and not intuitive or easy to use.

iGo however has a great interface and its really cool having the GPS in your dash instead of a piddly phone screen or whatever...im also going to buy a reverse camera ($40 off ebay) that i can hook up to this screen. I bought it for the mp3 playback..i was so sick of using CDs. It does its job i guess but dont be fooled into thinking its going to be as painfree as using an ipod.

DVD payback is nice for long trips.

If i had payed $300 then yes its worth it but for $690 including postage..its a bit lacking..

mr. cheez, i'm trying to get a bunch of people in other forums as well to go in on a group buy for this. If i can get enough interest, I can ask my contact at Witson if he'd be willing to give us a GB price. Let me know

I'm definitely interested if the price will be cheaper than what I'm seeing on eBay. I don't really trust eBay with $500 - 600.

Another owner here, installation is really easy (I took it out and put it back in under a half hour last time, had to mod something^^)
Like adamgs said, super hardware, bit of shabby software, but yes, iGo is really nice (it does sometimes crash on me, don't know of that's just me, came shipped with Route 66, but that's real crap)

Got reverse camera hooked up a month or 2 ago, works really really well. If you can find one for 'bout 400-450, then I would suggest to get one^^

got some pics if you want btw, see this thread
