Went out to wash the car once it cooled off a bit outside (down to a nice cool 85 degrees) this evening. Looks like the warm sunny weather didn’t agree with the plastic gaskets around the headlights. Both sides got warped. Come on Mazda, it’s only 5 months old; and no where did it say the car shouldn’t be left outdoors.
Any others seen this? I’ll stop by the dealer tomorrow and see what they say. I strongly suspect they’ll have to order the parts. Hopefully it won’t be an argument to get it under the warranty.

It was replaced under warranty. They ordered new headlight assemblies and had to take the entire face off the car. Then they realized the gasket needed to be ordered separately. So it sat there with no face for a week. Looks like they did a decent job; a few smears of adhesive to clean off, but no damage or misalignment. After body work, I always worry it’ll be worse than before.
