Howdy, I'm looking for a how-to on removing the spark plugs. More specifically, removing the intake manifold to get to the back plugs.

Does anyone have some pics of what do remove on the intake manifold to get to the back?

Disconnect your battery.

Disconnect your CAI or accordian from your TB.

Remove the TB.

Remove eight 5/16 nuts on top of the IM. You'll need an extension.

Remove the 3 hoses connected to the rear of the IM. Flathead and pliers.

Remove the three 5/16 nuts holding the EGR bracket to the IM.

Disconnect the four plastic clips in front the IM securing a few wiring harnesses to it.

Looks to me like that would do it.

Haven't looked at it closely enough, do you have to remove the TB?

I was just concerned about missing any hidden bolts.

Yeah I figured that was your concern. I eyeballed the IM real closely and I dont see any potential hiding spots for pesky mofos like that.

You got it right, but the TB removal is optional. Just did the plugs this past weekend, and while it looks messy with everything apart it wasn't all that bad. I think the plugs took me about an hour or so start to finish.
