Just wondering if there are anymore 6club bay area/norcal members still around. I post up meet info and no one ever responds anymore. Wondering if you guys exist still, let me know!

Hmm not sure how I overlooked this. I'm in South San Jose.

Would love to see your Rx7 at some point.
Not much. Tints, HIDs, and lip spoiler are about it. Still really debating on whether I want to play with the suspension like my previous Mazda3 (ie. lower, sway-bar, camber arms, wheels, tires). Don't get me wrong though, I'm not a fan of the current hellaflush and stance movement. If I were to play with the suspension, it would be for improved handling more than looks.

In the short term, I would like to get fog lights soon though.
bring out the FD, Ill bring out the gtr since my FD needs smog at the moment

anything done to your 6?
Doh! Just realized your question was directed at Mazdaspeed RX8 Ver2 and not myself. Oops haha.
Lol, it doesn't matter cause the next question was gonna get asked was what mods are on your car anyway. Haha, very proactive. You guys should come out to Fremont automall in and out right now if you're not doing anything. I'm hosting a club planning meet and MOCC will be meeting here tonight. Not a lot of 6's come out.
I won't be able to make it tonight, but I'm up for the next time.
no worries man..what kind of HIDs did you get for your 6? im getting kind of tired of the halogen yellow bulbs.

would like something with a smaller/slimmer ballast so i can tuck it or hide it away in the engine bay

Go with the 5000k color temperature for your HIDs; it's the best color if you don't want yellow and still want the best usable light.

I currently run Morimoto HIDs and in all honesty, it's not worth the amount you pay in my opinion. My Morimotos seem to misfire about 25% of the time. It's nothing permanent as a simple on and off flick of the headlight stalk will fix it, but it shouldn't be happening with a $150 kit.

DDMs or Kensuns' seem to be a popular option around here as well.
Haha I feel the same way. I ran DDMs in my old Mazda3 and in my brother's Tc, and they both broke in under 6 months. Other people seem to have better luck though.

Never heard of the sportive system though. If you try that out, let me know how it works out. I'm tempted to replace my Morimotos if the misfires continue.
nice... where do u guys usually meet? with 3 kids it's hard to get away but definitely interested
Sorry for the late response. I haven't been out to a meet yet, but I think they meet once a month at the Great Mall in Milpitas.
I'm going to be busy Saturday evening, but I might be able to meet you guys at Tapioca Express. Is there more than one Tapioca Express in Union City?
