I just did the 3.5mm Aux input mod (http://forum.mazda6club.com/mazdaspeed6/225354-how-3-5mm-stereo-bose-system.html)
Now, when I press the button to see the outside (AMB) temperature it only reads ---

I know the two can't be related, unless I knocked something loose when I was up inside the dash....

Any ideas?

I guess that I get the dumba$$ award for the day....

I pulled the dash apart again and found that I didn't seat the plug on the back of the climate control module fully. Plugged it in and, all is good!!!!

I am not totally useless, I can always serve as a bad example!!!! LOL
