Does anyone know if some one makes aluminum or stainless steel sill plates (the piece you see when you open your door and lok straight down) for the 6 yet?

Thanks

No I haven't seen any yet. But there is universal ones out that are 2 1/4" X 27". They are $46.67. We sell them where I work.

I wouldn't mind getting custom 6 sill plates. Someone listening? I'll buy!

Would love to see pix first before I would buy anything "universal."

I wish there were custom ones for the 6. They would look so much nicer, but hard to keep clean. I don't really reccomend the universal ones for a car, it was just an idea. Just wanted to let you all know that they are available.

Try here.

Click on 'accessories' and go to page 2. The prices aren't listed but Atenza444 is from Singapore and maybe he can help out with that.

Thanks.

That's what I was looking for.

Too bad it doesn't say "Mazda6" on them.

Yeah, I'm just curios. English isn't my first language, and I'm trying to pick up a thing or two. So you'd agree that Scuff plates is the real term for those?

You're probably right....the website calls them scuff plates. I called them sill plates because they are near the side sills on the car.

In general, I think as long as you give a little description of what it is your talking about, you should have no problem with having someone understand what you mean.

True. Except I usually don't know the name of the thing next to the thing beside the thing I want to describe either. That makes it harder... :)

That looks good and looks like its OEM.

What's up with that green colored 6 though? That's very green.

Yes they have that color in some places... IMHO it's horrible on the 6 but well... taste varies :)
