Hey all,
Thought id ask this question here as I think the aust spec is a bit diff to the usa spec, so i wanted the right info.
I get my new GH luxury sport next week and i want to put new rims on her. Stock info from what ive been told is 225/45/18 18x7.5 +60 offset??
The rims i want to put on are buddyclub p1 II's 18x8 +45 offset and i'll put them on the stock tyres.
Will i have a problem with the offset being +45?? I knw my speedo wont be out by much if anything at all, but bit worried that the offset may be too low. I had +42 offset on my rx8 which is +50 offset stock and there was no problems at all, but im a bit worried with the 6.

Any help id appreciate.

Ta,
Kall.

The stock info you have is correct on the aust model, 18x7.5 +60 offset, and stock tires should fit on the buddyclub with no problems. I have seen others use an offset similar to yours and no real mention of any major immediate issues. I have heard that wheels bearings typically go bad if you use an offset that is much different than stock or possibly some rubbing if you don't roll your fenders. 15 is a sizable difference and you can use this link to see the difference. Wheel Offset Calculator Seems like you might be getting close to the fender which will definitely look good, but you may rub occasionally.

Also your speedo shouldn't be affected since overall circumference of the wheel/tire hasn't changed.

Hope this helps in your decision.
