I had a nissan before having this car and I found during that time that nissan has a couple of tuners like Impul or NISMO that are specialized in that manufacturer. Also we can note other companies like Mopar for Chrysler, JDM for honda, and so on. My question is: do we have anything like that for our mazdas? It would be nice to have something like impul, that makes stuff for nissans from wheels, to body kits, to ECUs and superchargers.

There are specialist manufacturers also for Mazda, just not much for this platform. The first gen 6 attracted a bit of enthusiast interest, but the redesign turned off much of that crowd. If Mazda had kept the enthusiast interested in the 6, it would have been looking good a gen or two down the road.

it is just interesting to have a company powering these cars, you know?
when I had my nissan I had my mind set to buy the stuff from impul
they are so neat. I had a versa 1.6, and the stuff they have for that car cannot be found in the us. the only problem is that they did not sell them to export, only in japan.
so I thought it would be nice too if someone made parts like that for the mazdas

JDM is Japanese domestic market...... that isn't a honda tuning company. Just a denotation of it being a product sold in Japan on a OEM product from ANY company.

You have JDM 240sx parts from Silvias and 180sxs, G35 parts from R35s, and Z parts from their Fairlady companions. It is also JDM per say to borrow production parts from other platforms and use them on USDM cars. (IE putting S15 Headlights on a USDM Integra.... if you are into that kind of abortion)

HPF is a honda corperate tuning house.

mazdaSpeed is the only real mazda Corperate tuning house. beyond that you have outside companies like AutoExe, Corksport, StreetUnit, Racing Beat, Ect that are not Corperately(is that a word?) backed by Mazda, but specialize in mazda performance parts.

Cool man, Though I already knew the JDM thing. I was just trying to make my point clear.
I guess for us we would have to get a bit from one place, a bit from other based on price, which is what I am doing now... I just can't wait until my Corksport FIMC arrives. I ordered it last week and they are still preparing it to ship.

lol, thought he was talking about something else when he mentioned JDM for hondas

JDM Honda Parts, JDM Honda Engines / JDM Nissan Motor Swaps, Used JDM Parts | Password JDM

but i guess he wasnt by his response. but yea we have companies that have stuff for the mazdas and they are AWESOME companies. AWR is also another company that specializes in mazdas

as far as tuning goes, cobb and cpe deal with the speeds. theres no real "tuning company" for the V6 and I4. ive personally been doing tuning and new products/concepts and stuff for the V6 and recently have been doing stuff for the I4. and i damn sure aint backed by any company, lol.

im getting into tuning the speeds as well. been tuning cars for years. and theres nuthin different about any of ours outside the fact that we have less support (products) to pick from

we own a niche car, not a popular everyone and their mama has it car. but i think that makes the companies we do have more personal and close to each other.
