Now that's what I'm talking about.
Hop to it man...get that spoiler on. <img src="http://forum.mazda6club.com/images/Mazda6Club_2014/smilies/tango_face_grin.png" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />
I’m on it. Picked up some closed cell foam weather stripping to use as a seal on the under side of the spoiler and am just waiting for my step drill to arrive then it’ll be time to start making holes.

The functioning LCD was worth every penny of that 25 bucks. Working ones on ebay seem to go for quite a bit more. Congrats on your score!!
Thanks. I literally swore out loud when it fired up and the whole thing worked. Was exceptionally pleased.

After a fruitless trip to a large wrecker this morning in search of a 2004 leather driver’s seat - there were 3 that matched and all of them had the same inboard bolster issue mine has (plus one of them looked like it had been attacked by Norman Bates, all cut up, I made the time to make the time and installed the spoiler.

It was a little unnerving drilling into the hatch but I got over it pretty quickly when I test fit the spoiler and the holes all lined up.

I’ll post a step by step in the next day or two, but in the mean time, here it is. I think it goes nicely with the body-colored grill I picked up the same day I ‘stole’ the spoiler.

Nice work! I does really look good.

Both my cloth and leather seat had/have the inner side bolster that is no longer protecting the seat frame. I actually fractured a vertebrae shortly after getting the car when I sat in the car quickly to grab something off the passenger floor (from the driver side) before quickly catching up to my family who was already walking down the trail. Not too many times I have shed tears as an adult but it ranks right up there with when I had my wisdom teeth (2x) drilled out and filled with no anesthetic.

Man labor I guess.
Needless to say, I am much more cautious when I sit and rise from the driver seat now. I also floss regularly.
That wagon is looking great.

Does anyone know how thick the spacers for the center are supposed to be? I put the spoiler on my car this weekend and quickly found out the wiper just barely hits it. I am going to machine them myself but wanted a ballpark thickness before just throwing something random in there.
