Hit a lowly 29MPG on a 200 or so mile trip this past Friday. Probably due to wind but man did that kill over half a tank of gas. I'm at about 17k miles.

I'm kind of in line with everyone in this thread.
I used to hit 40MPG in the first year of ownership on long road trips, and it's been all downhill from there.
My current average MPG is around 25MPG, usually 75% city. On the highway MPG numbers get up to 35 or so but never stay there unless i'm in the low 60mph speed range and there's no wind.
I did every oil change a bit early, I'm usually driving alone and the car is relatively well-maintained.
