well im about to buy a mps 6 2007 with 28k miles
its a service car from mazda and they offer me 2 year factory warranty

But im a bit afraid to buy this car lol , i see so many people complaining about it,but i think car problems always depend the way u drive them.

well this car is goin to be used for daily drive about 30 miles,80% highway.

im not the kind of guy that push it too hard,maybe sometimes but nothing serious,it will never be used for race or anything like it

ive seen some general problems like turbo and engine mounts,these 2 problems are covered by mazda warranty right ?

well i just want an honest opinion is this is a reliable car in all ways and since its not goin to be pushed too hard and wont be used for races and stuff , will it not let me down ?

For me it has been very reliable. But I do most of the maintenance myself. For others the car can be a pain. It just depends on the car I guess.

The turbo's are known to smoke. I have never once had the issue. The dealer should replace it under warranty if it does.

The rear engine mount is something you would have to upgrade. The dealer won't upgrade it. This won't void your warranty. Atleast it never did for me on dealer visits.

I say go for it. For the price these cars are selling at. No other car compares.

well about rear engine mounts which one is better and to replace it is easy ? i dont understand much about this lol does the engine gotta get off ?

It's not hard at all. I just used a jack to support the engine while swapping it to the new one. The tabs that hold the stock one have to be taken off to slide in the new one on. I think there is a how-to on this somewhere.

when you read a car forum, where ppl come to find help, you will see mostly negative things. there are many more ppl that are non-members and have a perfectly good car. i have 75000 miles on my car and havent had one dealer visit.

usually when does turbo start to complain ? i think the car has precisely 40000 miles,if it had the turbo problem,would it already have manifested ? or can the problem still appear ?

I switched over to synthetic oil at 30k. Changed over to a 5w-40 somewhere around 40-45k. I am now at 76,000 miles and my turbo doesnt smoke at all. And that running 20psi. My take is if it was going to smoke it would have already started.

i really hope iot wont smoke,cause in my country theres isnt almost any mps on the street , if 20 were sold all over country it would be much
if it smokes i think ill wait lots of weeks for a new turbo

07 Speed6 to sell

Ok Unfortunately I have to sell my speed6.
It is an 07 GT with 24k miles. Ive added bluetooth to the bose audio along with a Jl audio AMP and a 10" sub. The rest of this car is Stock.
