I'm about to pick up a 2007 mazda6 wagon. From what I've read the stock rims are 215/50/17. I wanted to get a set of 18" rims/tires for summer and use the current 17's wheels for winter. (remove existing rubber)

If I get 18"'s will there be any "odometer" / "speed" altering issues ?

Issues ? concerns ? cornering ?

Thanks for the help.

Not if you do what is called a 'Plus 1'. That is considered gaining 1" in rim diameter, but the outside diameter of the (new) tire remains the same as the old. If you go to Home - Discount Tire Direct and start by selecting Wheels, after you set the car model it will show you OEM, Plus Zero, Plus One, Plus Two, and possibly even Plus Three. Even if you don't use them, it still gives you the combination you want to keep the same overall diameter.
