Bought a 2006 Mazda 6 with a 6; really like this car as I bought it to replace a Lincoln LS V8 LSE.
I'm usually not a front-drive fan, but this car doesn't seem to have that high amount of "push" understeer that most FWD's get when driving a little spirited. I have some ideas for a few mods, but most are already here so I'll be "following the leader" most of the time.
I've also seen some great tech posts, a few of which have helped me find a new issue that has led to a CEL and rough running (bad coil #4 ).
For the most part, everyone here seems cool. Good to be here.

Those first 10 posts happen quicker than you may think, one really quick way is to watch the Newbie section and post a quick "welcome" when new people join
there are ALOT of great people on here so if you have a question that you cant answer after a search just ask, even if you have to resurrect an ancient thread lol :smile2:
Hi, not a 6 owner, just wanted to share a DIY I wrote for installing an aftermarket oil catch can on my 2018 CX-9. These forum rules are way too restrictive, and I have no reason to clutter this sub with useless posts.
I'll just say that if any 2018 6 owners with the 2.5T are looking for a DIY, hop on Google and do a search for "mazda cx-9 oil catch can installation". My DIY is the first one that pops up. Hope that helps.
Additionally, I'd appreciate it if someone could post a reference to this post in this thread:

Hi Guys,
Love my 2018 mazda 6 (stick of course)!!! Just installed an aftermarket sound system (LOVE IT) and got a radar detector hard wired in the car
.
Now I just have to get new wheels.. better rubber and I will be done.

I am having a problem with the APP sensor fuse. It keeps popping. It will run for a lil bit then it will pop and if I change it immediately it will be hot to the touch. any thoughts
