Why does my a/c on my car sound real loud and blows out very little air?
The fan inside the car is loud but pushes out very little air. I went to a shop today and the guy said that it might be my cabin filter. Would my mazda 6s even have a cabin filter and where is it at?

It's behind the glove box. Open the glove box and then flex the top corners in to release the stops and let the box swing down a little farther. On the right side of the box there is stop cable/string that you need to release so the box can be removed. Inside the opening you will see the main fan/air-duct and a horizontal cover plate about an 10-12 inches long and an inch high. The filter is behind that plate.

I just removed my filter and left it open. The filter just seems to restrict the flow a little bit. I haven't had any issues with leaves, dirt, debris, etc. coming through the vents. You can just remove the filter and allow the air to flow through the vents easier.

I think I might do this until I buy a new one.
When you see how much dirt and shit it catches, you won't leave it off for long. I couldn't tell you the last time I drove on a gravel/dirt road, but in 6 mos my filter looks like it came off a road grader that also drives through trees on a regular basis.
