SYMPTOMS
The following symptoms can be improved by the latest software (Ver. 74.00.324A).
Improved symptoms depend on current software versions.
• If the shift lever is operated quickly while displaying CarPlayTM screen, the rear view screen may not return to CarPlayTM screen.
• When the gear position is shifted into P from R, the screen may not return to the previous condition before shifting into R position.
ALSO NOTE: Do not rely on your Mazda Dealer to update your Firmware for Connect as most never will unless you complain of a specific issue or fault.
WARNING ⚠ : DO NOT USE ANY USB FLASH DRIVE LARGER THAN 16GB IN SIZE.

The FINAL Install Procedure is now Only a 1 (one) File Install...

I am looking to update from 74.00.311 to 74.00.324A. I read somewhere in this forum that with this update we don't need to a separate Gracenote Music update is that correct?
Please can you let me know the two parts that are needed to go with the firmware upgrade to get Android Auto working on Mazda cx-5
🤔. I don't think so. The post says that as long as you're above 59.xx.xxx, you NO LONGER NEED 2 files (The OS & the failsafe files). I think you will still need to update the Grace note separately.I am looking to update from 74.00.311 to 74.00.324A. As it doesn't support Android Auto, i'm looking to upgrade it to the latest version available.
When reading one the post from @ASH8, i noticed that i can upgrade it directly, is it correct?
What are the steps required? Is there any links that u can share?
I couldn't find the link to download V74.00.324A firmware. can you guys tell me where can I download it?

You need to upgrade to 70 first, but then after that you can - though it may all be in the same .up package now - I've seen that both in Reddit and here - so I assume it'll update you to 70 then to 74 in one sweep.Hi all,
