I recently got ridiculously lucky in getting my 2017 Mazda6 Touring a couple of months ago with under 30k miles! I know, what's wrong with it right? Anyways, I've been going nuts trying to figure out the latest updates and so many were referencing old posts from over a year old! My car is soooo out of date. I finally, somehow, stumbled on this site and was so happy that someone actually knows what they are talking about! This is awesome! Im so glad I found this site! I would love to have the latest firmware please!

Touch 'Version Information'.
Version Numbers are revealed.

I am looking to update from 74.00.311 to 74.00.324A. I read somewhere in this forum that with this update we don't need to a separate Gracenote Music update is that correct?

🤔. I don't think so. The post says that as long as you're above 59.xx.xxx, you NO LONGER NEED 2 files (The OS & the failsafe files). I think you will still need to update the Grace note separately.

UPDATE: I was such an idiot. If you want the firmware update, you MUST private message @ASH8 . Asking for it in the thread will not help you get it. I eventually learned this by READING the thread. Stop asking by posting! private message @ASH8 . If you can't private message because you are new to the website, keep replying on threads until you can private message.

Hi. In the manual it says:
"YOU MUST PURCHASE and INSTALL the TWO GENUINE MAZDA PARTS LAST."
I currently have version 70.00.100eu n and parts purchased in China. Everything works fine including the AAwireless dongle. Is it safe to update and is worth it?

If your setup has already had the parts upgraded with the current firmware version you have, I don't see why not. 🤔 But I would research a little more...
