This may be a dumb question but I am curious so I am going to take the risk. I have an Onyx black 2005 6S with the v6, Bose system, moonroof, rear spoiler, leather, ground effects, climate control, and a few other options. What is the difference between the 6S and the GT? Does the GT have more horsepower and still more options? When I was looking at the different options I thought mine was a GT but it says ^S on the original sticker. I bought mine used. Just curious.

Thanks for the information. I did find out more. The difference between the 6s base and the GT are options such as the red interior gauges, 6speed atx, and oval tail pipe tips. There are a few others but these are some. There are only a couple of options that are exclusively for the 6sGT.

6i = 4 cylinder (good)
6s = 6 cylinder (gooder)
speed6 = turbo 4 cylinder (goodest)

Other stuff, GT, sport, etc, are just option/trim packages. So to answer your Q, no, a 6s GT will not have more HP than your 6s.
