Well, the first number is the number of studs while the second number is the diameter of the circle created by the stud in mm.

You should be looking for 5x114.3.

Mazda6 needs to have 5x4.5" or 5x114.3. They are both the same, just one is measured in inches and the other is in mm.

If you saw an auction for a set of wheels that are 5x100/5x114.3 this most likely means the wheels will fit both bolt patterns and have 10 lug holes around the center bore of the wheel to allow fitment of both bolt patterns.

so what if it said.. "5x100/5x114.3".. but only had 5 lug holes> would that still fit?

As indicated in the picture, 5x114.3 would mean 5 lugs (or holes) with the diameter of the circle making 114.3 mm. A 5x100 would also have 5 holes, but the circle would be 14.3 mm smaller, thus making the two incompatible.

Some wheels are listed as 5x100/5x114.3, meaning they have 10 holes. One set of the 5 is 5x100 and the other is 5x114.3. This saves the wheel company money by making one wheel compatible for many more vehicles.

Here's an example:

This could mean they have both patterns as well. Be sure to ask b4 you buy. DO NOT GET 5x100 you will be out money on wheels that wont fit.
