I have the lotek gauge pod and the oil pressure gauge, transmission temp gauge, and voltmeter gauge.

I call up a local shop to see how much it would cost to have them put in. The guy sits on the phone and chats and i tell him they are all electrical and I have the pod and its just needs to be secured to where the map tray is with some 3m or any adhesive.

He rambles on and then says.. well the work will take about 4-5 hours, so Im guessing around 400$ for the install! I was like, thank you goodbye.

I dont know if that fair, but it sure as hell doesnt sound it. They all seem easy enough to install(except maybe the trans temp) but it cant be that complicated of a process to have these put in...can it?

mods, move this if this is in the wrong section.

it could, in all honesty take 4 hours to do the job and check everything. so depends on the hourly rate of the place, $100 is pretty steep, but somewhere in the $75/hr would be expected at a lot of tuner shops out here at least, so maybe $300.

have you tried enlisting the help of other NJ owners? Voltmeter, well shame for having someone install that for you first off. the other 2, gonna need a couple parts, and run 2 wires through the firewall, but not too hard.

if you aren't the DIY guy, then i'd shop around, i'd guess $250-$350 would be avg. depending on rates.

I dont think I have enough knowledge to do it myself. The voltmeter is cake, but the others I have not even the slightest idea. They are all electrical gauges if I havent mentioned that before.
