As stated in the title, what did you pay for your 2018 Mazda6? Please include trim. I'm currently getting out-the-door quotes on a Soul Red Grand Touring Reserve. Been quoted at $33,745, which is under KBB fair purchase price of $34,139. Vehicle price before taxes and fees is aboutt $300 under invoice.

Glad you're considering the 2018 M6. I bought my Soul Red GT in early April for about $600 over invoice. I normally would not pay more than invoice but I wanted the Soul Red with the sand interior. Only one dealer out of four in my county here in SoCal had this combination in a GT (the rest had black interior). He knew it and I knew it, but I got the deal I wanted and was happy with the purchase. $300 below invoice seems to be a great deal. If you do decide to buy, be sure to post your deal.

Here are my numbers on a 2018 Mazda 6 Signature, White Pearl, Dark Chestnut, purchased on 5/26/18 in Mesa, AZ. I live in Chandler, AZ, but this was the closest dealer and had the best price.

Sale Price (about $1k below invoice, includes destination, paint upcharge, etc.): $32,999.00
Dealer Adds (Tint, Door Edge Guards, Paint Protection): $697.50
Tint and edge guards are lifetime warranty 3M. Paint Protection is AutoMate which includes free "waxing/detailing" every 6 months for 3 years. First oil change is free and they give free loaner cars for longer waits.
Total: $33,696.50

Doc Fee: $499.90
Taxes: $2,712.57
Tags: $625.85
Gap Insurance: $895.00

Total Financed (60 months, 0.9%): $38,429.82
Payment is around $655

Feel like I got a great car for a great deal.

I can currently get the out-the-door price on a Soul Red GTR for $33,696. I have a counter offer waiting on another dealer for less than $33,496. Do you know exactly what kind of tint you are getting? Do you plan on only waxing/detailing every 6 months? Is every 3 months recommended?

I don't know exactly which 3M tint they are going to put on it. I reached out to the dealer earlier today to ask them as I was researching to see my options.

I rarely wax my cars (gasp, I know) so once every 6 months is way more than I would have done on my own. :) I only had my 2012 Pilot waxed and detailed for the first time this year. So it went for 6 years. However, I work from home full time and my cars mostly sit in an enclosed garage and aren't exposed to the elements much. And I'm in Arizona, so no snow/salt/rain to really break down the finish.

So I settled at the $33,696 out the door price (0% financing). I could've gotten the vehicle at $33,496, but the vehicle had to be in-stock for that price. Unfortunately all the Red GTRs in CT came with the parchment interior for the past 2 months until 1 finally came in but it was at a dealership far away so I just paid the extra $200 to get it now.

KBB's fair purchase price range is $30,953 - $32,242. Invoice is $31,342. I paid about $31,050. I think I got a pretty good deal on a new vehicle.

I'll make a future post (sometime next week) after I get the Xpel Ultimate paint protection, Xpel Prime XR Plus tint, and ceramic pro coating put on

$31K out the door. M6 GTR, no options, Red with parchment interior. Unlike Connecticut, red on parchment is a very rare color combo here in Washington. 2 have been delivered to WA since the color update (2018 model year), and I bought another dealers allocation. Red on black was as common as flies on cow poo.

Thankfully the salesman accidentally ran a blue inked ballpoint pen over the parchment door leathers. (Steam cleaning and a very, very gentle application of fiberglass pen got it out).

2018 Mazda 6 Touring, Deep Crystal Blue w/black interior. Paid $24,100 before incentives. $1500 cash allowance plus $750 loyalty bonus for trading my 2015 Mazda 6 Touring. $10,000 on trade.

There was enough upgraded on the 2018 to where I felt good with the purchase. I even got to swap the TSW rims and Michelin Sport Pilot A/S3+ tires so I don't have to endure the Falkens. Plus now I have a moonroof again! Once my bank account recovers in a couple of months from the down payment, I'll add tinted windows and put a JBL speaker package in.

Wanted a 2018 Sport 6MT.

Went through AAA Buying Program (co-branded w/TrueCar) - never would have done this in the past but saw someone do it on another forum successfully. Got offers back from two dealers, but only one of them made a good offer because that dealer had the car on the lot. The following were all they had, and also had to finance via Mazda or the $2000 incentives would come off (add $2,000 to the these quotes). Fine, so I put 30% down. My credit was pretty bad, which I knew.

Prices quoted:
$17,751 for Deep Crystal, or
$18,051 for Machine Gray

I chose the Machine Gray.
$0 dealer prep/admin/marketing fees, no extended warranty
$80 doc fee (CA law)
+TTL

Getting leather seats, tint, clear bra, speakers upgrade, chrome door sill plates, and footwell lighting, hopefully all that will be done by end of next week, then to sell my 2014 Foz XT, which has been flawless and awesome, but I just missed driving my Gen1 Mz3s stick. Can't wait to pay off a couple of high interest credit cards...

That seems like an incredible price. Much less than you can buy a 3 with 2.5. nice work!

Sounds like around $4-4500 off MSRP before fees/TTL. Nice job! The 2018 6 is the first car I ever thought seriously of getting in white. Really looks good in that color. I heard somewhere from some technical expert that Mazda's snowflake white is the easiest color to keep up & correct and repair on a spot basis, compared to others.

Yeah, I was going for the silver\gray color until I saw the white with black interior. Here’s a couple of pictures.

Yeah very sharp sophisticated and sporty. I saw a YouTube of a dealer who took a white one and added every black accessory possible. It looked pretty awesome. Just tried to find it in my history but couldn't. I'll see if I can track it down sometime soon.

I bought a Soul Red 2018 M6 Reserve w/ Black Interior in Michigan the week of Thanksgiving and paid invoice - $750 loyalty - $500 Black Friday promotion
So $31,337 + $210 doc fee - $1250 = $30,297 + TTL
I also got 1.9% financing on it, rather than take an additional $500 credit that was available.
It seemed like a pretty good deal for my region (based on Truecar sales & Napa price history), and I wanted a very specific trim and color combination, which was not available anywhere in MI. The dealer had to trade for one in OH, which probably reduced my bargaining power a little bit.
I also bought OEM All Weather Mats for $97 shipped on Ebay. So no reason to pay more than that at your dealer.

One thing I learned is that the pricing is very region specific. Even if a dealer in OH was advertising the car for $29,500, they would not sell it to me for that price because the manufacturer rebates are based on where the car is registered. The rebates in MI are only $500, but they were $1500 in OH and $1000 in IL. Only time I've ever wished I lived in Ohio.
just kidding, still not worth $1000 :wink2:

I bought a Soul Red 2018 Mazda6 Grand Touring Reserve with black interior during Christmas weekend.
Got it for $28,600 without TTL. OTD price was about $32,400 ($28,600 + $3080 tax + $535 licensing + $150 doc). This is in WA state. I opted for the cash rebates instead of financing deal.
