2016 Mazda 6 Grand Touring - Adding Front and Rear Facing Cameras

1022 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  mark3220
I looking to add a front and rear facing cameras to my 2016 Mazda 6 Grand Touring. I currently drive about 20k-25k miles per year and wanting to get the added "eyes" of front/rear cameras. (People on the road can get crazy!!)

I wanted to see what everyone has added to their Mazda 6's, recommendations, or what to avoid.

I'll most likely stick with 1080p with max viewing of 140 degree to help keep the fisheye effect off the video. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!

You can try this Viofo A129.

That setup is an overkill, by the way. 😀
Hi Rhinopops, not sure if you got your question answered or not. I'm going to be tackling this in the next few weeks and installing Thinkware Q800PRO 2 channel from old car to my new to me Mazda6. I have been very happy with this unit so far.
I have a viofo 129pro duo in mine and it works great.

Quick update here for everyone: I successfully transplanted the Thinkware Q800Pro 2 channel from my old car to my Mazda6. Wire routing and trim panel removal/ reinstall was very easy on this car, and I also used the OBD adapter kit to make it easy for tapping into power source.
