Well, My dad decided to buy himself a Solstice. I wanted it in stick, but he wanted a convertible to just cruise in, not having to worry about changing gears. The car drives like a dream with the independent rear suspension and LSD. It's not extremely fast, but it does move well, and you feel like you're driving a sports car. The interior is really nice with the two-tone seats. I think GM hit it big with this car.

We paid $26,000 for the car (MSRP), but every dealer down here is asking for 5k-10k over sticker, which is insane. Well, here are the pictures. Tell me what you think.

We drove and looked at the Sky, but in the end it's still a Saturn even though it's still a GM.

I like the Sky's front end more, but the Solstice's back end looks much better than the Sky's.

Nice looking car for sure, very eye catching. Whereabouts in Miami do you live? Looks like the Gables? Miami Lakes?

Thanks. Yup, you got it Miami Lakes. We should meet up one day. There's a Mazda Meet in Tropical Park on November 18. It's still kind of far away.

the underpinnings of the Solstice and the Sky are pretty much the same, slightly different spring rates and such, however I agree with you, the back end of the Sky is a bit to over exaggerated. I do not like the chrome on the tail lights, kinda kills it for me. On the other hand the Solstice is a very good looking car all around, except for the reverse lights in the lower rear bumper, never liked that in any Pontiac.

Anyhow nice car and I hope your dad enjoys it.

Yeah! Those are fun to drive! Only 170 hp but power to weight ratio is great. Handles corners like nobodies bussiness.

Yeah we both looked at the MX5, but he didn't really like it. It drove amazingly and that thing handled in bricks, but something just kept dragging him to the Solstice.

Lol. And def+tones, we have 3 gray cars and 1 black. My brother's Mazda 3 is an exact twin of my car minus the body kit lol.
