So my 2005 Mazda 6 Information Display is messed up. Everything is working fine except the display is messed up. I can play music from my CD and radio without a problem. The only problem is the display.

It looks like the panel around the display is pushing or crushing against the display so it won't display properly. If I lift or push the panel up from the display, it will go back to normal for a second.

I know for a fact that my display hasn't burned out yet because I did the light test for the information display. I just don't know what to do with the panel. I haven't had this problem before but it started about 6 months ago.

What should I do? Thanks a lot for helping me.

the only thing u can do is replace it. this is very common. specially on the 03-05's. probably 1/4 of us have the same issue, hence why if u look, there dozens and dozens of these threads. the problem is the connection become unsoldered from the back. hence why if you put pressure on it, it will come back on. the replacement are from mazda, and are $350, plus a 500 core! ouch! otherwise start hitting up junkyards.
