This is my first post but I have read 100's of post from the forums.
First I would like to mention things that I have done to my car.

Orders from the RPM store. (By the way you guys are great)
Clutch Masters FX200 (Stage 2) Clutch
Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel
AWR Transmission Mount
CPE Wishbone Motor Mount but want to switch it out for a AWR.
VG Shark Fin Antenna

VG Shark Fin Antenna

Other places
G2_Brake_Caliper_Paint: Red
Rotor and brakes from R1 concepts

Thinking of doing
Mazdaspeed short shifter, shorten height of the cluch pedal, MFactory LSD, ERG Mod, NRG Grounding Wire System.

Added from recommendations:
Headers: cp-e the only thing is I saw a lot of issues. I have not been able to find any new post. Is all the issues worked out?

Injen intake: Does this work with the Tuner? or do I still need the tunable mafci?

Throttle controllers: ETC

Suspension: Still looking at. Any recomendations? I like the height that the car is at. We have a lot of speed bumps around here. I would like a better suspension though. Car does not like a lot of weight.

Tuner (long awaited by everyone): POWERMOD PRO SEQUENTIAL ADVANCED ENGINE MANAGEMENT COMPUTER (PM TGNY)
If you get the tuner and you want to do it yourself you need the ETC and AEM uego.

Is there anything else that i am missing that should be changed for the better of the car. i'm not talking about performance, I'm just talking about the overall reliabilty of the car.

What else are some basic stuff you recommend for performance wise.

Please subsribe to this post. I will continue to ask a lot of questions here for the Mazda 6s to see what is the best and to get some questions answered. Don't want to feel like a newbee when I start posting. The other thing is that I see a lot of post and some are new and some are old so I get confused to know what is what when i'm thinking of getting something or intrested in learning more.

Thanks ahead... :D

Things i'm confused about
Which Intake is the best. I see all kinds of forums on this.

SM Catch Can. Still wondering what it is and what it does.

I see a lot of information about the engine blowing out at about 100,000 miles. I see people mention headers and cam's and different things like that. So what is the best prevention to keep the car running longer?

Is there a full fix for the PCV valve?

I see that a lot of TB bore 4.5" what does it do at the end?

What else are some basic stuff you recommend for performance wise.

Since you PMd me, I'll try to answer some of your questions.

If you have the V6, then the CPE is the best. If you have the I4, then they're all pretty much the same.

SM Catch Can. Still wondering what it is and what it does.

It's a can that catches the oil that blows by the rings, and you have to empty it once in a while. I don't really see a huge benefit of it though. Blow-by gets routed through the PCV and eventually gets burnt anyway.

I see a lot of information about the engine blowing out at about 100,000 miles. I see people mention headers and cam's and different things like that. So what is the best prevention to keep the car running longer?

To be honest, probably the best mod for the car to keep it running longer is simply nothing. Just do all the regular maintenance on schedule.

Is there a full fix for the PCV valve?

Don't really know anything about this.

I see that a lot of TB bore 4.5" what does it do at the end?

Just makes the TB bigger so more air can flow into the engine. It's not very beneficial in this car unless you're running forced induction. The engine doesn't really need that much air anyway. You might gain a little power at high rpm, but you might also lose flow velocity at lower rpm and actually be worse off in terms of lower end torque. At any rate, it probably won't be noticeable anyway. It's basically a lot of work for very little gain (if any).

What else are some basic stuff you recommend for performance wise.

You can get a cat-back or axle-back exhaust if you want some sound. Suspension stuff is always good, either springs and shocks or coilovers. Wheels and tires are nice to have as well.

i would just get all three AWR mounts. they sell them as a kit now

not sure what you mean by shorten the clutch pedal. do you mean adjust the height from the floor, or physically shorten the lever?

i would go for the TWM short shifter. better feel IMO, but your choice. i guess the preference would be the knob height.

LSD..the MFactory LSD is a great unit and superb price. im running the first ever in my car, and there are more people with it that love. the price is phenominal. it will definately help put power down. Grounding is a 100% a go for this car. so good choice on that. although you can honestly quite easily make your own kit. but for ease the NRG kit is very well priced. The voltage stabilizer i have no experience with, and dont know if it really works or not or if its necessary. but maybe someone else can chime in that has it.

Is there anything else that i am missing that should be changed for the better of the car. i'm not talking about performance, I'm just talking about the overall reliabilty of the car.

i would do the EGR mod. that way you have even airflow thruout the intake manifold. without the egr mod done, the flow variation is off by 5-7% at times. with it done it brings it down to about 1% variation.

keep an eye on your ignition coils. they have a tendancy to crap out. not to the point where its an epedemic, but misfires can happen. just keep your plug fresh to the change intervals. NGK IX's work very well for good stock replacements.

Make a habit....i say again..MAKE A HABIT of checking your oil level daily(if its your daily driver) or at a minimum 2-3 times a week. i love Shaeffers oil. outside of that, i would run good oil just because its better for the life of your motor.

Things i'm confused about
Which Intake is the best. I see all kinds of forums on this.

Injen and CPE is the best, CPE comes with a lil tune box that scales maf voltage to adjust airfuel ratio. $500 for that setup. or you can get the better Injen intake for like $100-$150 used and buy a tunable mafci for $200-$250 and be better off. then comes the Mazdaspeed and AEM. anything else is just that. something else.

SM Catch Can. Still wondering what it is and what it does.

google "oil catch can"

the SM Catch Can is just made by Saikou Michi but its just a name brand and does nuthin more or better than an ebay brand. same design internally just cylinder shaped

keep good oil in the car, stay with respectable intervals and change things out within reason. PCV valce is a routine maintenance item and ideally should be changed out every few oil changes. its a $6 part if that. so change it regularly. engines blowing....

well that has been the happenings of many different things.

1. owners running the car with very low oil in the pan
2. clogged cats
3. clogged PCV
4. overall owner abuse.
5. running the car with extended oil change intervals without pro UOA's to warrant it.

1,4, and 5..........can be fixed by owner being more responsible

2 and 3........ change things out regularly

I see that a lot of TB bore 4.5" what does it do at the end?

not sure what you are asking. please reiterate

What else are some basic stuff you recommend for performance wise.

basic stuff, intake, headers, exhaust, throttle controllers, good tires, better than stock suspension. TUNING, max performance can not be had without tuning

Thanks ahead... :D

2. clogged cats
What kind of prevention would be good for this one? I do regular maintenance on my car. Every few oil change the PCV is changed. I always try to keep my cars in top conditions. i like to keep them a long time but I also like to have fun...

by the way, congrats on your mazda! welcome
This is what I found also "The Mazdaspeed CAI is the same as the AEM CAI except for the MS CAI's filter and splash guard."

I do have a lot of questions. Once I can get some specific stuff I will look up the post or if you can help me find posts. For now i will ask a lot of questions here. For all other newbies... Feel free to ask questions about the MTX 6s. We can help each other out and we can have people with a lot of knowledge shine in for us.

I ran the CPE headers on my car for 2 years with no issues,I had the revised set that were made in house by CPE.

Injen intake: Does this work with the Tuner? or do I still need the tunable mafci?

It works just fine with the PowerMod tuner.

Throttle controllers: ETC

Wait for the new edition to get released.

Suspension: Still looking at. Any recomendations? I like the height that the car is at. We have a lot of speed bumps around here. I would like a better suspension though. Car does not like a lot of weight.

Mazdaspeed Hatch springs will drop you an inch, but the car retains it's street manners nicely. You won't scrape on anything unless you have a bodykit.
Racing Beat sways(front and rear)
AWR Swaybar endlinks
Koni or Tokico shocks

Tuner (long awaited by everyone): POWERMOD PRO SEQUENTIAL ADVANCED ENGINE MANAGEMENT COMPUTER (PM TGNY)

A wideband o2 sensor/gauge is a must for any tuning done by you.

You won't scrape with the factory 6S bumpers/skirts with the Mazdaspeed Hatch springs. I wasn't a fan of the racing beat springs, they were a harsher ride than the speed springs and made all sorts of rattles appear in the car.
