Does anyone know what the differences are in the 2004 vs 2005 stock airbox setup?

Im pretty sure that the only difference is the accordian tube that connects the airbox to the TB? Other than that, are they identical?

Maybe it would be beneficial to have the 2005 version for my 2004 ??? Does it "straighten out" the air flow in anyway???

Why even waste your time trying to find out the answer then you could get a CAI for about the same price as the POS accordian tube from mazda...

No. And it has different connections for the tubes coming off the accordian tube.

The accordian tube for the 2004 and 2005 are completely different. They are not interchangeable.
