Hey Everyone,

I own a 2004 Mazda 6 and have a GTR Sirius Plug N Play receiver. I am currently using a wireless FM transmitter, and the quality of the music sucks! I have been trying so hard to get some sort of WIRED FM transmitter but the one I found is out of stock. Does anyone have an idea of what I can do. I contacted the company and they stated that because its a Mazda 6, 2004 year, the Head unit must be soldered to connect with the unit. Any suggestions?

search this forum for "aux in", you'll find about a dozen solutions. any of them, save the wired FM mod, will require the soldering of a jumper in your stock HU. the soldering is also covered at large. i wouldn't be too overwhelmed.

i've got an AudioLink-USB in my speed6 and a wired FM mod in the 5 door. i cannot really tell too much of a difference in sound quality. the FM mod is about $100 less though.
