These guys changed my family members' oil, when i check the receipt they put in 10-30 instead of what is recommended which is like my mazda 6, 5-20! So is much damage to be done if i leave it in or change it after 3k miles or just change it now?? This is a 03 Ford Focus automatic...Lemme know guys , thanks a lot

You live in Miami, it's hot down there, I think 10W-30 is perfect, or 5W-30.

It's not going to hurt it, but I wouldn't take my car to any of those quicky lube places ever again! Jiffy Lube almost messed up my car when they changed my oil. I demanded that they fix the the problem or they're going to pay for a new engine if they damaged it. They fixed the problem, ran the CEL, ran some compression tests and everything appeared to be fine, and it was.

Ever since then I've been changing the oil myself with either 5w-20 or 5w-30 Mobil1.
