Hi all, So I have an 03 Mazda 6 5sp sedan that's having an issue. No idea what the cause is though. I'll try keep the story short.

It all started when disconnecting the battery the other day however I don't think it's related. I reconnected the battery started the car and from what I've read on the forum did an ecu reflash or something., Started the car no acc on, ran for 20min and then hit AC on full for 15mins seems odd to me but did it anyway. Afterwards i noticed distinct sound difference, from the exhaust granted I've removed the rear passenger portion of the exhaust but even since doing so this noise is different. Had low fuel for awhile however got $20 worth and the problem remains. Could it be the fuel pump and filter? Any help would be appreciated.

Replaced the plugs a few months ago, so it can't be them I'd think..since noticing the problem I've cleaned the throttle body and maf, inspected the air intake hoses for cracks and leaks and there is none. The engine light isn't on and doesn't seem to have trouble idling but sounds off and acceleration has gone to hell sounds like misfiring or something, been through the forum's and found heaps but no solve just wanted to put a new post up and refresh it as I have come to the conclusion I can't do it alone lol
So the question is.., is it the fuelpump or the maf or the ignition coil or something else entirely?

Keep in mind and like I said I'm not sure if it's related but this all happened after disconnecting the battery..

Im not going to click a link to FB... But it sounds like you are running on less than 4 cyls. Check your coils.

Video file was just to large to upload directly onto the forum is all so I posted it to my Facebook and attached the link, but as for the car it does seem to run on 3 cylinders or something could it maybe be the ignition coil? Just a coincidence it went bad at the same time as I replaced a dead battery

You could have bumped the wiring enough to upset a failing wiring harness. Or pinched a wire coming from the ECU during install.
