2.3 L are finally here in Hong Kong

The 2.3 L are finally here in Hong Kong. It basic model costs about hk $199,000 ($30,000 above the 2.0 L). Gosh! I should have waited a little longer. Well, I like my 2.0 L and will aim for Rx-8 as my next car.

Singapore prices:
2.3 sdn/hatch fully loaded : US$68,000/=
2.0 basic: US$58,000/=
Can any country beat these prices?

We are not proud of this though. I have to say the system here means a car has a certain 'value' built-in and this can be translated into $$ if a car is scrapped. You can use this to offset the high taxes when buying a new car. Still....
