it's been seen as an issue on the 3.0, but the 2.3 hasn't had many pcv issues, so not on the top of everyone's mind i guess.

Mr tea, any how to's to change the thermostat? im so lost. planing to save some money and change it by myself

Atenza_5: It is a simple tedious process :/ if that makes sense... I officially did not change my thermostat.

Be prepared to get dirty as the Thermostat is located under the front manifold passenger side of the engine bay. Follow the Radiator pipe that leads to the front of the engine to find it. It is very hard to get to so you will need a ratchet that has the capability to get at angles. Usually a joint connector for the socket will help with a few socket extensions. I recommend taking off the front bumper and raise the car to go from the bottom unless you can get your hand in from the top.

This is one of those supposed easily installs on other cars that for some reason are not so easy on this car. Also the Thermostat must be changed with the entire housing, so make sure to change the entire housing...

You don't have to remove the washer fluid tank. I also only moved the P/S pump out of the way and did not completely remove it.
