Some of you guys'n gals should know that in Germany and Switzerland putting 18" rims on the car will actually void the warranty for the axles as well as for the suspension. Maybe anyone who would like to do these modifications to the car should check with his dealer or Mazda distributor first.

I think this sucks big time as I wanted to put 18" on mine. I believe that the risk is too high to void the warranty for those parts. Bummer... :(

I'm curious if that's the case in other countries as well...so please report.

If the modification is attached to any part of the stock car and the mod can be proven to be the catylist, then yes, no warranty for you. :D

Kincaid is absolutely correct, any dealer trying to tell you otherwise is BSing you. Never have I seen 20s or 22s, on trucks that come stock with 15s or 16s, cause an axle or brake failure.

On a truck I belive it would be the other way around - as noone with 22" rims would dare to go off road ect... :)
