Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade my 17" stock wheels to the ASA AR1 17" Offset +52 since due to horrible street conditions in my city I don't want the hassle of wheels bending and stuff and I was thinking of 225/45-17 tires to match and improve a little on the handling too but since I will be lowering with H&R also, I'm concerned about the rubbing issues . I've read and searched the forums for a specific answer but couldn't find it so I ask here for this.

Thanks for your input.

I have these rims on 215/55 with stock springs and i was a little worried about the back rubbing. I used a jack to make the back bottom out and i had like 1/2 inch of clearance when it hits the stop. So I would assume with lowering you would need to at least roll the rear fenders.

So based on your experience with these rims, going to the 18x7.5 would definitely need at least rear fender roll?
