Hello I have a 2005 mazda 6i 2.3l 4 cyl. The valve cover has this plastic tube that connects to the breather hose. This piece has locking tabs that broke and I can't seem to find out what it's called.. would hate to replace my whole valve cover because of a piece of plastic smh.. the tube does have a old ring so I can't imagine why I can't buy the piece itself but first need to know what's it called? Please any ideas are helpful

It is called a PCV valve. In your other picture the part is called the rocker (valve) cover.

When the PCV valve is functional, you can hear a small check ball rattle inside when the valve is shaken.

No it's not the pcv valve. I am mechanically inclined I know what a pcv is and what valve cover is. The pcv in the mazda 6i is in the front under the intake manifold. The tube I'm looking for connect from valve cover to breather hose.
