I have an 02 mazda 6 with a 4cyl and a no start condition. let me break it down for you because it is a little strange. First when you turn key it tries to start for just a second then dies almost as if it would start if you left the starter engaged for a longer period of time "this is not the case" . Also "and here is where it gets odd" if you remove a spark plug wire "does not matter which one" and try to start it again it actually gets a little better and it will run for a few seconds then die again. I have done all the diagnostic i can think of. i.e.-fuel pump sounds fine, pressure at rail, spark on all cylinders looks good, all fuses look good and I have voltage at all my injectors. Any help would be very appreciated.

Check your ground wire connected to frame and engine. Make sure the cable is still connected and connections are corrosion free. The bolt on my V6 actually loosened up and fell out, losing my connection to ground at the engine.
