Um, except for the fact that I get results from multiple forums here.
  2. CAI install

    3.0L V6
Thanks for the rundown here. I know it didn't get to where you wanted it, but a 20-degree drop is still impressive. I also have an eBay CAI and live in Phoenix, so I know about the heat soak when stopped. I think I'll have to do the CAI wrapping like you did.

Would the lip spoiler from a speed6 work, assuming going onto a sedan?
  4. bunch of issues

Good rundown by the Dr. here, as usual. I'm stealing his quick AT flush summary for myself here in a weekend or two. Just wanted to chime in on the electrical grounds - I found mine were quite corroded and certainly sub-par. I ended up replacing the entire negative cable and redoing each of the...
  5. Hood release broken after collision

    1st-Gen
A junkyard might be just the ticket if you have one nearby and are so inclined to do the work yourself. Either way, good luck and hope you don't have the experience thaxman 'enjoyed'...
  6. Why can’t we tune

    1st-Gen
Yeah, this disappoints me as well, though I totally understand the reasons for it (what Gerry said).. I'm enjoying my slow work on modifying and 100k maintenance work on my '06 v6 GT very much. I'm basically just picking and choosing one of the many mods and/or maintenance how-to's found on...

Any news on Search improvements? The inability to search within a specific forum is killing me*. Just to have the good-ol' "Search this Forum" button/field back would be best, regardless of how Advanced Search is implemented otherwise. Thanks! *figuratively

Looking interesting! Sorry about the wiring issue, hopefully you'll figure out what it is soon.
  9. Engine Mount Replacement Options

    3.0L V6
Interesting! I had a similar thought when doing my mounts and ended up carving out some of the rubber out of the old mounts and placed some in the open webbing areas on the dogbone mount. Not sure I can tell if that is doing anything, 'cause replacing all the totally shot motor mounts made...

Looks great! Always gotta love a little DIY job that works out so well, very rewarding. :)

Were those lights on prior to the radiator repair?

It should be quite doable, based on the number of sites that I visit on both my desktop and phone, and the websites we design and manage as well. :) I agree that to change it from where it is now will take some testing time to be sure they don't bugger something else up. However it is still...

In addition to the above, I find the lack of better delineation between posts, forum topics, or forum listings to be somewhat disturbing... :) It's as if they're all swimming in a sea of open space and sameness, with only tiny little lines struggling to step up and act as delineators. I...

I agree with Byakuya, there is currently a TON of wasted space on a desktop browser. I've tried two different browsers, Firefox and Vivaldi (a chromium-based browser). They both result in wasted space on BOTH the left and right sides. I really want more space dedicated to the actual forum...

FTFY ;) Mine's the same way. It runs awesome, but leaks like a damn sieve! But hey, I have automatic rust protection for the entire passenger side of my frame! ;) I actually have valve cover gaskets, VVC gaskets, and water pump cam gasket for the top end leaks. Hopefully that'll take care...

Man, another great build thread! Just found this one of yours DJ, and you are doing some neat stuff. :) In particular, I really like the look of the LED runners/reflectors you've put together there.
  18. Unlocking 2008 Mazda

Yeah, go with the graphite if you can. You can also get little tubes of the stuff that you can use to "blow" the graphite into the lock. Also, have you tried the trunk? If that unlocks, you can lower the seats and crawl through far enough to unlock the door of your choice... Hopefully no...
  19. Hello, can I get post access to the rest of the site?

    Newbie Section
@Raydude, be sure to also update us with the results! Does it make a difference? Does it "fix" the lag from pedal to power? And most importantly, did it pass the wife test? edit: Also, is this the regular or turbo engine?

Congrats! Awesome amount of mileage on any vehicle! Not to mention high mileage for you each year, close to what, 43k+ a year on average?! Damn! I mean, I used to average 33k a year for about 15 years and that was plenty, so hat's off to you and your car! I'm aiming to make it merely 200k...
